Naturally better, from bowl to bed
YOUR ORTHOPAEDIC PET BED
When your bed arrives
Your Raw Wellness Orthopaedic Pet Bed is compressed for shipping, so it may look flatter or slightly uneven when first removed from its packaging.
To help your bed settle:
- Carefully remove the bed from its packaging.
- Unroll and unfold it on a flat surface.
- Gently reshape the cushion and bolsters with your hands.
- Allow the foam time to naturally expand and regain its shape before use.
Some creasing or compression marks may be visible initially. These should gradually soften as the bed expands and settles.
Please take care when opening the packaging and avoid using sharp objects close to the bed or fabric.
CARING FOR YOUR BED
Your bed features a removable 55% linen + 45% cotton outer cover, along with a removable waterproof inner cover to help protect the foam.
Outer cover
For everyday care, shake off loose hair and debris or gently vacuum using an upholstery attachment.
For small marks, spot clean promptly with a clean, damp cloth.
When your cover needs a deeper clean:
Cold wash only.
Use a mild detergent.
Do not bleach.
Air dry only.
Avoid tumble drying and excessive heat.
To help preserve the natural texture and appearance of the linen and cotton fibres, reshape the cover while damp and allow it to dry naturally before placing it back on the bed.
Waterproof inner cover
Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth and allow to air dry completely before replacing the outer cover.
Foam
The supportive foam construction should not be machine washed or submerged in water.
If moisture reaches the foam, gently blot away excess liquid and allow it to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area before reassembling the bed.
YOUR 100% WOOL BLANKET
Made from 100% sheep’s wool, your Raw Wellness blanket adds a soft, naturally breathable layer of comfort to beds, sofas and your pet’s favourite resting places.
Wool doesn’t need to be washed after every use. Regular airing and gentle maintenance can help keep it fresh between washes.
CARING FOR YOUR WOOL BLANKET
For everyday care, gently shake your blanket outside to remove loose hair and debris and air it in a dry, well-ventilated area when needed.
For small marks, spot clean gently with cool water.
When a full wash is needed:
Cold wash only.
Use a gentle detergent suitable for wool.
Do not bleach.
Air dry only.
Do not tumble dry.
Avoid heat and excessive agitation.
Gently reshape the blanket while damp and allow it to dry naturally.
NATURAL MATERIALS
Natural fibres have their own unique character.
Small variations in texture, weave and appearance may occur between pieces and are part of working with materials such as linen, cotton and wool.
With regular use, natural fibres may soften and develop character over time.
